 Supervising and control systems
It allows a continuous control of the company systems, using HW architectures placed on Server endued with a database and expressing high performances (Oracle, Sybase, SQLServer, Mysql, SAPDB etc) it is possible to file alarms, events and the functional data, from which derive graphical Trend of analysis.
This can occur also on the systems that operate in remote control on the installations using connections on dedicated lines (CDN; CDA; xDSL) or common phone lines (PSTN; ISDN; GSM); you can use them for the synoptic visualisation of the more common web browser by internet.
Automatic machines

To obtain Real Time performances you refer to "Embedded Systems" this means they are composed by reduced HW files and determinist Operating Systems on which the control program is developed. What derives form this are compact and efficient solutions dedicated to the specialized management of systems and machines. On such HW-SW solutions we often find micro GUI and Webserver for the representation of the diagnostic and functional information for the operators, as well as various types of records of communication and local and remote access functions.
Measure and Test
The creation of Test System, Control and Measure is often based on architecture combining sensors, actuators and various instruments with a general coordinating PC and file of the data. The aspects of communications (RS-232, IEE488) among the various components of the "meter chain" meant to obtain accuracy and repetition of the required measures. In such a case the use of Personal Computer helps the realisation of "virtual instruments" and algorithms and represents a good solution in terms of flexibility and cost of the solution.
